2022년 카타르 월드컵 경고 규정

 

 

 

 

대한민국의 카타르 월드컵 16강 진출을 축하하며 월드컵 옐로우 카드 규정을 한 번 구글링해봤습니다.

다들 말이 달라서 헷갈렸거든요.

 

 

9 Yellow and red cards 1. The referee has the authority to take disciplinary action from entering the field of play for the pre-match inspection until leaving the field of play after the match ends (including kicks from the penalty mark). If, before entering the field of play at the start of the match, a player or team official commits a sendingoff offence, the referee has the authority to prevent the player or team official taking part in the match (see Laws of the Game, Law 12.3); the referee will report any other misconduct. 2. Single yellow cards and pending suspensions as a consequence of cautions in different matches in the preliminary competition are not carried over to the final competition. Pending match suspensions imposed as a result of a red card in matches in the preliminary competition are carried over to the final competition. 3. Single yellow cards in the final competition will be cancelled after the quarter-finals. 4. If a player or team official receives two cautions during two different matches, he will automatically be suspended from his team’s subsequent match. 5. If a player or team official is sent off as a result of a direct or indirect red card, he will automatically be suspended from his team’s subsequent match. In addition, further sanctions may be imposed in the case of a direct red card. 6. Any suspension that cannot be served during the FIFA World Cup 2022™ will be carried over to the representative team’s next official match.

 

 

원칙적으로 누적된 경고(옐로우 카드)가 2장이 될 때마다,

혹은 바로 퇴장(레드 카드) 당하면 다음 경기에 출장이 금지됩니다.

 

본선 조별리그에서부터 16강까지 카드가 누적 되고 4강에서(즉, 8강 이후부터)는 경고(옐로우 카드)가 리셋됩니다.

따라서 본선 조별 리그에서부터 받은 누적 경고 때문에 결승전에 출전하지 못할 일은 없습니다.

 

조별 리그에서 받은 경고가 한 번 있다면 16강전에서 경고를 한 번 더 받을 경우 8강전 출전이 불가능하지만,

조별 리그에서 경고를 한 번 받고 8강전에서 경고를 한 번 더 받는다고 하더라도 8강 이후 경고 기록이 리셋되기 때문에 문제 없이 4강전에 출전할 수 있습니다.

 

위 규정 3번을 보면 알 수 있듯 옐로우 카드가 취소되는 것이지 레드 카드는 아닙니다. 레드 카드를 받고 퇴장 당한다면 다음 경기에 출장할 수 없고, 따라서 4강 준결승에서 퇴장 당한다면 당연히 결승전에 출전할 수 없습니다. 

 

 

아무튼,

이왕 힘들게 여기까지 왔는데 한국 대표팀이 16강에서 브라질도 이기면 안될까..요?
